Sunday afternoon, Mom and I hosted a "Welcome to Wichita" party for Aunt Laura. It was a great chance for AL to meet some of our friends, re-connect with those she's already met, and to have a girls' get-together!
Mom found this super-cute sunflower at the Holiday Mart in Kansas City
all the yummy snacks -- cupcakes, layered Mediterranean dip and pita chips, veggies and dip, popcorn munch, and apple sangria
my friend Lisa who owns Buckingham Cakes made the darling cupcakes
some were houses with AL's house number on them -- #21
shingles, doorknobs, and flowers... oh my!
and then, of course, some Kansas sunflowers!
