fish creek falls

We headed out to Fish Creek Falls for some exciting exploring!

 the falls is to the left of us... we are at the top overlook

 then we hiked down to the bottom of the falls -- we were amazed at how much LESS water was rushing through as compared to last year

 chipmunks are everywhere!

 but similar to last year, carter has decided that he does not hike. period. he prefers to ride piggy-back. i told jerry that it was good marathon training :)

grayson and jerry decided to climb up the huge rocks IN the falls

 grayson got a chipmunk to come up to his hand... bummer that we didn't have any food!
