Tanganyika Wildlife Park

During Spring Break, we decided to enjoy one of the two days it didn't rain all week, by taking a trip to the Tanganyika Wildlife Park. It's like a small zoo, and everything is up close and personal. It was a little bit chilly, but we were thankful that the sun was shining!!
Our first stop was to see the Colobus Monkeys. They were so cute and playful! Grayson and Carter loved watching them romp and play.
There was a baby! The babies are born white, and then turn black. The mama monkey was pretty protective of her little one.

Uncle Dave... we have a white tiger now! So cool!!!
Carter loved the goats
Grayson loved petting the bunnies

Carter wasn't so sure about this morbidly obese rabbit
You could go in the kangaroo exhibit, and were allowed to pet the kangaroos IF they came up to you. It was amazing to watch them hop around!
This bird was at the Lorikeet Landing -- I believe it's called a Lorie. They had such bright vibrant coloring!
Grayson stood in line to pet a lemur
With the lemur...
We attempted to feed the giraffes (carrots and lettuce), but they were content to just watch from a distance. What a fun day!

We really loved it too - you did a much better job taking pics than I did though! I do have the same one of Macy on the tiger in the gift shop though! You should have seen the line by the time we left - we were smart to go early even though it was a little chilly!
