I was taking a shower the other morning, when Grayson came running in our room. "Mom!" he shouted, "Carter can now climb in AND out of his crib. And he's doing it right now!" (As I went in to see for myself, Carter was hanging off the side of his bed, looking like a monkey that might fall right on his head.)
And, that is how and why we decided that it was officially time to be done with the crib, and transition to the big boy bed.

The finished product! We're happy to say that he's stayed in his bed the past two nights. Yay for a successful transition :)
