Disney World and the stomach flu just don't mix...
We just arrived back from our trip to Orlando and wow... what an experience it was!! We had two great days at the Magic Kingdom, but also two horrible, no-good, very bad days with the stomach flu. Uggghhh. We arrived in Orlando on Saturday, and had a wonderful time on Sunday exploring "Mickey's House" (as Grayson calls it). We rode everything that Grayson was tall enough to ride... like Dumbo, the Tea Cups, the Jungle Cruise, It's A Small World, drove the Indy race cars, the Carousel, and Peter Pan. We saw two parades, several shows, Cinderella's castle, and fireworks! But, when Monday came around, both Jerry and I were hit with a miserable puke-your-guts-out stomach bug. =( We both felt well enough to head back to the Magic Kingdom on Tuesday, and had a nice, relaxing day. BUT... this morning, at 5:45am, Grayson was hit by the same nasty stomach bug. What on earth are you supposed to do with a 3 year old who's throwing up? Especially when you have a taxi ride to the airport and then two more flights ahead of you? Well, we started by praying... and praying a lot. Thankfully the last time Grayson puked today was during the taxi ride from the hotel to the airport. We are now home, safe and sound.

We met up with our dear friends, the Spanns, and watched a parade together (Grayson was asleep in his stroller...)
with Mickey and Minnie (she gave him a kiss!)
Riding Dumbo -- one of our favorites!!

So fun Julie!! I have anxiously been awaiting these pics!! Looks like you all had a great time (when you were feeling well!) Can't wait to see you tomorrow!!
I am so sorry to hear about your rough days. We know exactly what it is like to fly with a flu stricken child! But, it looks like you really enjoyed your time when you were all feeling well.
