Yesterday we took Carter for his four month check-up and shots. He did really well, and only cried a little during the shots. Here are his four month statistics:
He weighs 16 pounds, 3 ounces -- 75th percentile
He's 25 1/2 inches long -- 75th percentile
and, drum roll, please...
His lovely head is 17 1/2 inches around -- 95th percentile (YIKES!)
Dr. Kim said he could start eating food now, so we fed him rice cereal last night and he loved it! This morning at the grocery store we picked up some squash and he's already finished off half a jar. The kid doesn't miss a meal. =) Here he is with the squash...
Our other excitement is that yesterday Carter got a tooth on the bottom! He's been drooling like crazy and knawing on all kinds of toys, and sure enough, he's got his first tooth! I didn't think kids got teeth this early -- but what do I know? =)He also slept from 10p to 8a last night -- yippee!! If we could just get him to like riding in his carseat, we'd be all good.

Wow! Carter is achieving so much here lately!! And his sleep schedule is awesome!!
Do you by chance go to Kim Mosier Allman for a doctor? I keep thinking of her and don't know how to get in touch.
Can't believe how fast Carter is growing up! Cutie!!
julie, reece is literally off the charts for head size every time...it's all those brains, in both cases :) carter is a doll!
