Fourth of July Parade

When I was a little girl (Wow -- that makes me sound old!) our neighborhood always had a 4th of July parade. We would all decorate our bikes with flags, balloons, and crepe paper, and the local firemen would lead us all in a parade up and down the street. Well, my parents still live in that same neighborhood, and they still have the traditional 4th of July parade. Now that Grayson is old enough to ride his bike, and has the endurance to ride for awhile... well, we thought the parade would be a fun thing to do! Here he is -- all decked out in his red, white, and blue! (I must share my great bargain find from yesterday... his cute patriotic Polo shirt from Once Upon a Child was $3.17!! Yippee!!)Posing with a firemanMe, Grayson, Mom, Debbie, and Elyse waiting for the parade to start
The firetruck is still a little loud for 3 year old ears =)
Grayson and Elyse watching from a distance as the ladder went high up in the sky, and then the firemen sprayed everyone! Fun!
Happy Birthday, USA!!
