Happy Easter!! We have had a wonderful weekend celebrating Easter, rooting the Jayhawks on to the Sweet 16, and talking about David and Kristen's upcoming showers and wedding. We started the weekend on Friday night, enjoying Mom's yummy taco salads and homemade salsa, as soon as David and Kristen drove in from Ft. Worth. Brett was also home because of Spring Break. On Saturday, we all went out for lunch, did a little shopping, watched basketball, Grayson got to go to a birthday party, and then we rooted KU as they showed UNLV all about basketball!! Yea!! Today we went to church together, and then came back to Mom and Dad's for a yummy brisket lunch, and to open our Easter baskets. All in all, it was a fun, relaxing weekend. =)
David, Kristen, and Brett... David and Brett really have Grayson LOVING wrestling, throwing paper wads at each other, chasing each other around the house... you get the picture! We have to keep reinforcing to Grayson that "you only throw things at the uncles"!!
Mom and Dad... Mom did an outstanding job feeding ALL of us this weekend, and she put together darling Easter baskets for not only Grayson, but for all of us "big kids", too. Thanks, Mom! And, Dad surprised all of us girls with Easter gifts from Talbots at lunch today. Way to go, Dad!
