Grayson's Birthday Party

We celebrated Grayson's 3rd birthday this afternoon at Pump It Up. Honestly, I was a little worried about him for the party, since he refused to take a nap this afternoon. But, as soon as his friends began arriving, he was literally bouncing off the walls. Running from wall to wall, chasing his friends and having a grand ol' time. It was freezing cold outside today, so it worked out perfectly to be bouncing inside for his party!Waiting for everyone to arrive and to get to start playing!! It was the strangest thing... after playing HARD for an hour, you put cake, ice cream, and a juice box in front of 18 kiddos and what do you get?? Silence! Just the sound of chewing and slurping! =) Definitely the quietest it had been all afternoon!
Grayson loves lots of things right now, and Curious George is definitely on the list. Yummm. You've gotta love birthday cake. I could eat it for breakfast!

Thanks so much to Uncle Brett, who drove down from KU to help Grayson celebrate his birthday. Brett brought Grayson a cool Jayhawk hat, and here Grayson is screaming "CHEEEEEESE" to appease his crazy mother with the camera. Thanks for coming, Brentley!
