Three years ago today, Grayson Samuel Anderson was born at 5:59pm after 26 long hours of labor. He was definitely worth it!! =) We had a great day, celebrating our sweet three year old. We started out the morning with his gift from us, a John Deere Gator that is motorized (and was a GREAT garage sale find at only $50!!). Yea!! It took him awhile to coordinate pushing the gas pedal and steering, but he only ran into the house twice, and never hit either of our vehicles. Whew!! Oh, and by the way, it was 16 degrees out this morning during the Gator test-drive. Brrrr!
Next we headed over to meet Nana and Gramps for a birthday lunch at one of Grayson's favorite places, Red Robin. He even got to tie a green balloon to his arm during lunch, and they came and sang "Happy Birthday" to him afterwards.
Grayson helped Nana pick out a "Cars" ice cream cake from Dairy Queen. Yummmmm!! Here he is blowing out his candles.
So, it did warm up a little!! Nana and Gramps gave Grayson a t-ball set, and we all went outside to play for awhile before the KU game. Grayson decided that he and Nana were the "players" and Mommy was the "coach." =)
It was a great birthday celebration!
